Adams County Senior Services, Inc. (ACSS), received articles of incorporation as a non-profit corporation on May 24, 1974, from the Department of State in Nebraska. From that time on, ACSS has been and continues to be a community focal point where older persons can come together for services and activities structured to enhance dignity, support independence and encourage involvement in and with the community.
As part of a comprehensive strategy to meet the needs of older persons, ACSS offers programs consisting of a variety of services and activities that promote education, creative arts, recreation, advocacy, leadership development, health, nutrition, social interaction and volunteerism, to name a few.
The mission of ACSS is to assist persons 60 years of age and older to remain active, independent and in their own homes. This goal is accomplished through the promotion of our programs: Family Caregiver Support, Supportive Services, Senior Volunteer Companion Program, Center Meals, Home Delivered Meals, Center Services, Homemaker/Handiman and Health Promotion.
